Conservation Projects

An integral part of the camp experience is the on-stream conservation project that the students all participate in.  Each year, the students partner with members of Cumberland Valley Trout Unlimited and the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission to improve a coldwater habitat.

1996 - 2000: Big Spring Creek

Mud Sill Cribs, Stone Deflectors, & Log-Faced Stone Deflectors

2001 - 2006: “The Run” on the Yellow Breeches Creek

Single Log Vane Deflectors and a Channel Block

2007 - 2008: Yellow Breeches Creek
