A typical day's activities begin on the stream at daylight with rod
and tackle for fishing and personal instruction. Breakfast is served at
7:00am. The students are in the classroom by 7:45am for specifically
programmed instruction until noon. Lunch is served from 12 to 1pm. In
the afternoon, they spend their time doing habitat repair work on a local
stream. Then they return to Allenberry for dinner. The students are
allowed to fish until dark. There is most often an evening program
followed by lights out at 11:00pm. This is not just rest and relaxation.
It is a learning experience to last a lifetime.
